Precautions for sewage use
How to use
Note that some materials cannot be disposed of through the sewage system.
Materials which can be disposed of via the sewage system
- Drainage from kitchens
Vegetable waste and leftovers, tempura oil and so on should not be disposed of through the sewer system because they can clog water pipes and can significantly degrade the performance of processing facilities.
- Drainage from bathtubs
Remove hair before draining.
- Water in toilets
Don't dispose of paper other than toilet paper. Tissues, paper diapers, sanitary items and so on should not be disposed of through the sewers by any means.
- Laundry drainage
Phosphorus is contained in organophosphorus compound detergents and can not be fully removed by sewage processing facilities. Since phosphorus can damage the environment of rivers and seas, we advise using a phosphorus-free detergent.
Materials which cannot be disposed of via the sewage system
Rainwater, oils (gasoline, oil), harmful materials (such as deodorants, agricultural fertilizers), non-aqueous materials (such as vinyl, rubber products, cigarette ashes), tissues, paper diapers and sanitary items, garbage (such as vegetable waste and leftovers), tempura oil, stock feces and urine, farm drainage, freshly mixed concrete drainage.
